Samsung has introduced its much anticipated Galaxy A series (2019) smartphones in India. The South Korean phonemaker took the wraps off the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 (first impression), and Galaxy A50 (first impression) smartphones in the country. The handsets are the new mid-range offerings from the brand targeted at millennials and include features such as a beefy battery, up to triple rear cameras, a bezel-less display, and an octa-core processor. Moreover, the Galaxy A series trio runs the latest Android 9 Pie-based Samsung’s OneUI out of the box. Notably, the launch marks the global unveiling of the Galaxy A10 smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A10 prices in India

The Galaxy A50 is the most premium smartphone in the lot and has been priced at Rs 19,990 for the 4GB RAM option and Rs 22,990 for the 6GB RAM variant. The Galaxy A30, on the other hand, will come with a sticker price of Rs 16,990. The Samsung Galaxy A10 price in India has been set as Rs 8,490. As for the colour options, the Galaxy A50 comes in Blue, White, and Black shades, while Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A30 in Red, Blue, and Black hues. All three models will go on sale in India from March 2nd.

To recall, Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 were globally announced earlier this week and showcased at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. Both the devices boast of a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity U display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution. The screen also has a U-shape notch up top — which is home to selfie camera. Apart from this, both Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 come with “3D Glasstic” design and house 4,000mAh batteries with 15W fast charging tech and USB Type-C port for charging.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A50 is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9610 octa-core chipset coupled with 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage, which is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The handset also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor and triple rear cameras. The setup includes a 25-megapixel (f/1.7) sensor + 5-megapixel (f/2.2) depth shooter + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultra-wide angle lens paired with LED flash and a slew of camera modes. The front gets a respectable 25-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

The Galaxy A30, meanwhile, rocks the octa-core Exynos 7904 chipset under the hood. The phonemaker ships the device with 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage, which is user expandable up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. For photography, it’s equipped with 16-megapixel (f/1.9) primary sensor and 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with LED flash on the rear. The front camera gets a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

As for the Galaxy A10, it packs a 6.2-inch Infinity V display that bears HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The affordable smartphone in the lineup has Exynos 7884 octa-core chipset ticking at its core, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB expandable storage. In optics, it rocks a 13-megapixel camera at the back and 5-megapixel shooter up front. The entire setup is run by a 3,400mAh battery. There’s no fingerprint sensor on the device whatsoever.
