Samsung Galaxy A20 with 6.4-inch display and 4,000mAh battery launched in India

After announcing in Russia last month, Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A20 in India, making it the fourth A series handset in the country. The Galaxy A20 too is a budget offering that sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED bezel-less display, dual-rear cameras, and a big battery. It is powered by the octa-core Exynos 7884 processor and runs on One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy A20 price in India

The Samsung Galaxy A20 price in India is Rs 12,490 and the handset will be go on sale in the country starting April 8th. It will be available via the Samsung e-Store, Samsung Opera House, leading e-commerce portals, and retail stores across the country. The phone comes in Red, Blue and Black colours.

Samsung Galaxy A20 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A20 sports a 6.4-inch HD+ SUPER AMOLED Infinity V display with 720 x 1,560 pixels resolution. Like the other A series phones in the segment, the smartphone also packs a polycarbonate build and has a waterdrop notch above the display to accommodate the selfie shooter. It is powered by the Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7884 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz octa-core processor; this is the same chipset that is used on the Galaxy A10. The handset packs 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. It runs on One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

As for the cameras, the phone packs dual-rear cameras which consist of a 13MP (f/1.9) primary and a 5MP (f/2.2) secondary shooter. There is an 8MP front-facing shooter for selfies. Powering the phone is a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port. For biometrics-based security, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back.
