The Galaxy A22 5G price is EUR 229 (approximately Rs 20,252) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It will also be available in 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB configurations but Samsung has not announced the price for those models. The phone will go on sale in the European markets from the beginning of July. The Galaxy A22 4G price and availability details haven’t been announced yet. However, the company did reveal that the Galaxy A22 4G will be available in 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB configurations.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G features a 6.6-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen has a V-shaped notch at the top for the front-facing camera. Speaking of which, you get an 8MP sensor for selfies. As for the rear camera setup, the Galaxy A22 5G has a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth camera.

Powering the Galaxy A22 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. There are four configurations on offer 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. While the company did not reveal anything about the OS that the phone ships with, it did say that it will come with One UI 3.1, which suggests that the phone might be pre-loaded with the Android 11 operating system.

The Galaxy A22 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. The phone, as its name suggests has support for the 5G network. Other connectivity options haven’t been announced but we are guessing that it has dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Galaxy A22 4G comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a U-shaped notch at the top that houses a 13MP selfie camera. The phone has a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera also has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

The Galaxy A22 4G packs the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and is available in three configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Samsung is yet to reveal the OS version but considering that it has One UI 3.1 customization, we think the phone comes with Android 11.

The Galaxy A22 4G has a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging speed. The phone has support for the 4G network. While Samsung is yet to announce other connectivity options, we are expecting the phone to pack dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. For privacy and security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
