Samsung Galaxy A24: everything we know so far
According to a WinFuture post, the Samsung Galaxy A24 appears to feature flat sides, and a borderless rear camera setup that is in line with the company’s newest design language. Colour variants of the Galaxy A24 will include black, silver and lime.
A second leak reported by Pricebaba, courtesy a Google Play Console listing of the purported smartphone, reveals all the key specifications that it could come with. These include a 6.5-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, with a waterdrop notch at the centre. Performance duties are taken care of by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, along with 4GB of memory and 128GB internal storage.
Other key details include a 50MP triple rear camera, which includes a 5MP ultra-wide camera as well. The selfie camera will feature a 13MP sensor, while the entire setup is tipped to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery — paired with 25W fast charging standard.
Samsung Galaxy A24 price
All of this will seemingly add up to make the Samsung Galaxy A24 a mid-budget range device, which seems about right considering that the A24 will not offer 5G connectivity. Its thick bezels and the waterdrop notch also give away its budget positioning in terms of pricing, which as per the WinFuture leak, will be around €200 — about Rs 18,000.
This appears to be in line with the chipset it could feature, too — Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 4G, featuring the Snapdragon 685 SoC from Qualcomm, is priced onward of Rs 14,999 in India. With the Helio G99 rivalling the Snapdragon 685, the ballpark range of between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 could be what the Samsung Galaxy A24 SoC is launched at.
