Samsung has announced a new colour variant of its affordable Galaxy A30 (review) smartphone in India. The handset can now be purchased in a new White hue, apart from the already available Black, Red, and Light Blue. Interestingly, the Galaxy A30’s new white colour variant price in India is set at Rs 15,490 when the other colour options are available at Rs 13,990. This has been due to the recent price cut, which is applicable only in the offline market right now.

To jog down your memory, the Galaxy A30 ships with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that bears full HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution and a small cut-out up top, which the Samsung likes to call Infinity-U. The handset is powered by an Exynos 7904 mobile platform clocked at 1.8GHz, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, which can be further boosted up to 512GB using a microSD card.
In the camera department, the phone features a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors with LED flash on the rear. For selfies, you get a 16MP shooter on the front. The Galaxy A30 draws its juice from a beefy 4,000mAh battery, which is backed by 18W fast-charging tech. On the software front, the phone runs Android 9 Pie-based One UI out of the box. The handset sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 4G VoLTE, dual nano-SIM slots, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type C as connectivity options. The fingerprint sensor is mounted at the back panel of the phone.
