“Other leaked Samsung Galaxy A51 specifications include 48MP primary rear camera, 32MP selfie camera, and 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen”
The design of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A51 smartphone, with quad-camera setup, was recently leaked exclusively by 91mobiles. Now, renowned tipster Ishan Aggarwal, who has been pretty accurate with his leaks in the past, claims that the phone may pack a 6.5-inch screen – which is slightly bigger than its predecessor Galaxy A50s. The screen will most likely be Super AMOLED with Full-HD+ resolution and impressive aspect ratio. The tipster further added that the Samsung Galaxy A51 will ship with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, instead 32-megapixel as was rumoured previously.
The internal images of the Galaxy A51 suggest that it won’t have a pop-up selfie camera to module. The selfie camera could be atop the screen in a waterdrop notch or punch hole – it remains to be seen which way Samsung goes. Furthermore, the Galaxy A51 is rumoured to come pre-loaded with Samsung’s latest custom skin One UI 2.0 atop Android 9 Pie instead of Android 10 out of the box. The handset will allegedly rock 4,000mAh battery.
Previous reports have pointed to the Exynos 9611 SoC; the phonemaker may ship the handset with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The phone is likely to feature a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom edge. As for the colour options, the Galaxy A51 is tipped to arrive in silver, black, and blue colour options. The Samsung Galaxy A51 launch in India is expected to be in the first quarter of 2020 and should be priced north of Rs 20,000.
