Samsung Galaxy A52 and Samsung Galaxy A72 launch could be on March 17th at approximately 7 PM IST, according to a new leak. As per a tip from Twitter user @FrontTron the launch will be similar to Samsung’s flagship launches as the upcoming event is also called ‘Galaxy Unpacked’. This sits in line with our exclusive report from earlier, which said that the Samsung Galaxy A52 and Samsung Galaxy A72 India launch would take place by mid-March. The Samsung Galaxy A72 and Samsung Galaxy A52 will also be launching in 4G and 5G versions.

We also have our first look at the Samsung Galaxy A52 out in the wild thanks to a second Twitter user @AhmedQwaider888. It draws a lot of inspiration from the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, complete with its camera hump and Phantom Black colourway. It is quite clear that the Samsung Galaxy A52 will feature four rear cameras. Some form of resistance is likely too, based on a teaser image.
Samsung Galaxy A72 And Galaxy A52 specifications
We found out earlier that the Samsung Galaxy A72 would come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The 4G variant is rumoured to come with Snapdragon 720G SoC, while the 5G could come with Snapdragon 750G coupled. Both versions will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage Its quad-rear camera setup will consist of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a macro lens. There is a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The handset could house a 5,000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A52, on the other hand, will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Its 4,500mAh battery will come with 25W fast-charging support. The Samsung Galaxy A52 is may rock a quad-camera system that includes a 64MP primary sensor, 12MP secondary lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The phone may come with a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There could be a 5G version of the phone in the works too, but we don’t know much about it.
