“The Galaxy A7 (2018) is expected to flaunt a 6-inch full HD+ Infinity Display”
Samsung seems to be all set to launch its upcoming mid-range smartphone Galaxy A7 (2018) in the coming days. The smartphone has already been spotted in a number of leaks including 3D renders and a 360-degree video. Most recently, the smartphone was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website and now it has stopped by at the website of Wi-Fi certification. This hints that we can expect the smartphone to launch anytime now.
The Wi-Fi listing of the handset confirms the model number to be SM-A750 and reveals that the smartphone will come with Android 8.0 Oreo. According to the listing, the Galaxy A7 (2018) will be equipped with dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t reveal any further information about the upcoming smartphone. From the previous leaks, we know that the smartphone will come with a 6-inch display featuring full HD+ (2,160 x 1,080 pixels) Infinity Display.
The rumours suggest that the performance of the smartphone will be handled by Exynos 7885 SoC. The processor is likely to be backed by 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, which can be expanded further using a microSD card. In the 3D renders, we saw before, the upcoming smartphone can be seen flaunting a premium but boxy glass-sandwich design. It is expected to come with IP rating to protect against water spillage and dust. Unfortunately, no other details about the handset are known at the moment.
Now that the smartphone has been certified by both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certification, we expect it to be launched by this month end or next month.
