Samsung has given a limited period price drop on its 2018 mid-range offerings, the Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A9. 91mobiles has learned from retail sources that the handsets are available with discounts of up to Rs 8,000. The world’s first quad camera phone, Galaxy A9 (2018), can now be purchased at Rs 24,990 for the 8GB RAM variant, instead of Rs 32,990. Similarly, its 6GB RAM option is now available at Rs 22,990, down from its MOP of Rs 30,990. The Galaxy A7 (2018), on the other hand, is available at Rs 14,990 for the entry-level 4GB RAM variant and Rs 19,990 for the 6GB RAM RAM option. Both the variants have received Rs 3,000 price cut. The discounts are valid until May 30th via major brick-and-mortar stores across the country.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) boasts of four cameras at the back, comprising a 24-megapixel main snapper, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 5-megapixel depth camera. The front camera is a 24-megapixel shooter with HDR support. The handset also comes with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9, Snapdragon 660 SoC, 3,800mAh battery with fast-charging tech, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC support.
The Galaxy A7 (2018), meanwhile, packs 24-megapixel + 8MP secondary + 5-megapixel sensors at the back and 24-megapixel selfie shooter on the front for selfies and video calling. The handset’s other features include a 6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display, 2.2GHz octa-core Exynos 7885 SoC, and 3,300mAh battery.
