“Samsung Galaxy A70s is a mid-range phone and is expected to come with 64MP primary camera, run Android 9.0 Pie, and pack 6GB RAM”
Samsung Galaxy A70s has been in the works for quite some time and going with the series of developments; one can hope the launch might be right around the block. The handset recently bagged TENAA certification, and the support page also went live. Now, while we wait for the launch, the Galaxy A70s is spotted in a Google console website listing, revealing some key details like the 6GB of RAM, full HD+ display with 1,080 X 2,400 pixels resolution. This also confirms the Galaxy A70s would indeed pack the Snapdragon 675 SoC with Adreno 612 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy A70s TENAA listing suggests the handset would have the same design as the latest Galaxy A50s smartphone. This means it would have a glass layer and gradient finish. The triple rear camera setup is present on the top-left corner of the phone with LED flash beneath it. This is no cut out for the fingerprint sensor, so it should be present under the display. On the front, the handset could have an Infinity-U panel to accommodate the selfie camera. The volume rockers and power button are expected to be present on the right.
As for the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A70s could be the first A-series phone to feature the in-house 64MP Bright GW1 primary sensor coupled with a wide-angle lens and depth sensor. It is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display with full-HD+ resolution and pack a 4,400mAh battery with fast-charging support. The Galaxy A70s is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI custom skin on top. The handset will reportedly cost Rs 32,990 and while there is no exact launch date yet, reports suggest that it could be unveiled before month-end.
