“Samsung Galaxy A70s is expected to come with Snapdragon 675 SoC, 6GB RAM, and 64MP primary rear camera”
Samsung Galaxy A70s has been in the news for quite some time. It is said to be the first Galaxy A-series phone to come with 64MP primary rear camera. 91mobiles recently reported the phone would pack a massive 5,000mAh battery and cost Rs 32,990 when launched. Now, the Galaxy A70s support page has gone live on Samsung’s India website, suggesting its imminent launch. The listing also reveals the model number SM-A707F but doesn’t mention hardware specifications. It’s possible the Samsung Galaxy A70s might go official sometime early next month or even later this month.
The Samsung Galaxy A70s Geekbench listing suggests the handset would be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI custom skin on top. Much like its predecessor, the Galaxy A70s could have a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper. It managed to get a score of 2,365 points in the single-core test and 6,372 in multi-core scores, respectively. It’s also said to come with 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens and a depth unit, but details regarding these are scarce.
The Samsung Galaxy A70s with the same model number SM-A707F/DSM also bagged Wi-Fi Alliance certification revealing it will have dual-band Wi-Fi and dual SIM support. However, that’s all the information there is to know for now, but since the support page is live, one can hope the launch might be right around the corner. We should know more information very soon.
