Samsung Galaxy A90 5G design leaked in official poster

A leaked official poster of the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has been spotted in the wild. The latest leak comes in a series of new leaks, after it was initially seen listed under Samsung’s compatibility list for 25W fast charging. According to the official render, the Galaxy A90 5G is seen sporting a waterdrop notch for the front camera, on top of the Infinity Display. To the rear, a triple camera setup is seen, alongside an LED flash underneath the camera module. Interestingly, the rear of the device does not seem to feature a fingerprint sensor, which suggests that the Galaxy A90 5G will sport an under-display fingerprint sensor.

While this leak does not entirely confirm details about the smartphone, it lends some credibility into the leak, while also showing us a glimpse of its overall design from the front and rear. Given the nomenclature of the device, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G will likely be placed in the upper spectrum of premium devices. It is possible that the Galaxy A90 5G will feature an AMOLED display panel, similar to what Samsung equips its premium phones with. However, Samsung appears to have skipped the innovative rotating camera module that it used in the Galaxy A80, instead going for the rather standard, vertical camera module.

Previous leaks have also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G will feature 25W fast-charging, while a premium-end Exynos or Snapdragon SoC is almost certain to feature in the device. Other specifications remain to be revealed but seeing that an increasing number of leaks are coming up featuring the smartphone, it is possible that Samsung is looking to launch the smartphone quite soon.

Given that the Galaxy A series is placed right below the flagship S series of Samsung, it is likely that the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G will be placed in the blurred lines between the flagship and premium segments. Given that it will be a 5G phone, it is unlikely that the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G will be launched in India right away. Further details are expected in more leaks down the line, as Samsung comes closer to the launch of the device.
