Samsung Galaxy Book 5 series is gearing up to launch in India soon and the pre-reservations are now live. The flagship PC lineup in the country will include the Galaxy Book 5 360, Galaxy Book 5 Pro, and Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. These succeed the Galaxy Book 4 lineup and are powered by the new Intel Lunar Lake processors. The laptops will have support for Galaxy AI and Co-pilot+ PC, and offer a ‘Galaxy Connected experience’ with tablets and phones.
Samsung Galaxy Book 5 series pre-reserve in India
- The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 360, Book 5 Pro, and Book 5 Pro 360 can be pre-reserved starting March 4th.
- Customers can pre-reserve via the Samsung website, Samsung India Smart Cafes, select Samsung authorised retail stores and other online portals at no cost.
- Pre-reserve customers will get benefits worth Rs 5,000.
- Pre-reservation offer is valid until March 10th, 2025.
- The launch date and prices of the laptops in India are yet to be revealed.
- To recall, the Galaxy Book 4 launched last year at a starting price of Rs 74,990, the Galaxy Book 4 Pro at Rs 1,31,990, the Galaxy Book 4 360 at Rs 1,14,990, and the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 at Rs 1,63,990. We can expect the new laptops to be priced similarly.
Samsung Galaxy Book 5 series features
- The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 series will come with features like ‘Photo Remaster‘, which as the name suggests will enable users to make pro-level image edits. There’s also ‘AI Select‘.
- The Galaxy Ecosystem enables phone-PC connectivity with features like Phone Link, Quick Share, Multi-control, and Second Screen with Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
- There’s also support for Samsung Knox security.
- Display: The Samsung website lists the Galaxy Book 5 Pro will get a 14-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED touchscreen display with 2880 x 1800 pixels resolution and Anti-Reflective.
- Meanwhile, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 will get a 16-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED display with S Pen support.
- OS: Both laptops will boot the Windows 11 Home operating system with Galaxy AI features on board.
- Memory: The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book 5 Pro pack 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD storage.
- Processor: The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, while the Galaxy Book 5 Pro ships with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor.
- Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7. Ports on board include HDMI 2.1, 2 Thunderbolt 4, one USB 3.2 port, a microSD card, and a headphone jack.
- Battery: The Galaxy Book 5 Pro gets a 63.1Wh typical battery with 65W charging support. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 has a 76.1Wh cell and 65W charging.
