Samsung seems to be readying the Galaxy Buds FE successor in the form of the Galaxy Buds Core, going by the FCC listing we had spotted recently. This revealed the battery capacity and connectivity options of the Galaxy Buds Core. The latest development suggests the new Samsung Galaxy Buds could be on their way to India as well. Here are the details.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Core BIS details
- The Samsung Galaxy Buds Core has secured the BIS certification with the model number SM-R410, as spotted by 91mobiles.
- This comes after the charging case with the model number EP-QR410 reportedly received BIS certification in India last month.
- The BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification confirms the device is arriving in India soon although it doesn’t reveal any other information.
- In addition to BIS, we have also spotted the earbuds on the Nemko platform with the same model number.
- The certification mentions the product type as Bluetooth headset and the brand Samsung.
- The listing reiterates a 200mAh battery for the eabuds and a 500mAh battery capacity for he charging/carry case (model number EP-QR410).
- In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE’s case shipped with a 479mAh battery.
That’s everything that is revealed from the BIS and NEMKO platforms at the moment. The previous FCC listing showed connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi (up to 5.8 GHz frequency) and Bluetooth 5.0+ support. Not much is known about the earbuds at the moment but since it has been receiving certification, we can speculate that the launch could be around the corner.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE were launched in India at Rs 9,999. There are chances the follow-up could also be placed in a similar range.
