MySmartPrice spotted the Samsung Galaxy F22 on the Google Play Console website. The listing reveals that the phone with model number SM-E225F is powered by the MediaTek MT6769T chipset, which is the MediaTek Helio G80 processor. This SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM, as per the listing. However, Samsung may launch the Galaxy F22 with more RAM options. The platform further reveals that the phone supports 720×1339 resolution, which means we’re looking at a standard HD+ display. The handset will run with Android 11 out of the box.

Based on the specs on Google Play Console, it seems all but confirmed that the Galaxy F22 is a rebrand of the Galaxy A22. The latter was launched in India last week with a price tag of Rs 18,499. The Galaxy A22 comes with 6GB of RAM, but the Galaxy F22 is said to come with 4GB RAM, so the starting price in India should be lower.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 also offers a 48MP triple camera system, 13MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It will be interesting to see if the Galaxy F22 offers the exact same features. The upcoming phone will likely be exclusive to Flipkart and we expect Samsung to reveal the launch date soon enough.
