Samsung Galaxy F42 5G price in India, sale date

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G is priced at Rs 20,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version. The phone will be on sale in India during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale starting from October 3rd (October 2nd for Flipkart Plus users). It will also be available through Samsung online store and select retail outlets.

As a part of the launch offer, the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G can be purchased at a special introductory price of Rs 17,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs 19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version. This offer will be valid for a limited period only.

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G specifications

Samsung Galaxy F42 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes in two models: 6GB + 128GB storage and 8GB + 128GB version. The internal storage is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 custom skin out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. There is an 8MP snapper on the front and selfie snapper and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper. As for the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 115-degree FoV and a 2MP depth sensor.
