Samsung Galaxy F56 vs iQOO Neo 10R comparison poll: vote for the best phone based on specs

Samsung Galaxy F56 launched in India in May 2025 as a mid-range phone, succeeding last year’s Galaxy F55. The Galaxy F56 sports a modern-looking flat design, Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box, a 50MP main rear camera setup, and an Exynos 1480 chipset, among other things. Now, a key competitor of this Samsung phone is the iQOO Neo 10R, which launched in India in March 2025. The iQOO phone also features a 50MP main camera and an Android 15-based OS. But many aspects of it set it apart from the Galaxy F56 5G.

Both Samsung Galaxy F56 and iQOO Neo 10R have flat sides, but the latter has chamfered edges. Another major difference is that the iQOO Neo 10R has a squircle camera island, while the Galaxy F56 has an oblong-shaped camera island.

While the Galaxy F56 comes in vibrant Green and Violet colours, the iQOO Neo 10R is available in a plain grey variant and a dual-tone blue and white colour.

Even with a glass back, the Samsung phone, at 180 grams, is lighter than the iQOO phone with a plastic back at 196 grams. The Galaxy phone is slimmer too, at 7.2mm compared to the 8 mm-thick iQOO phone.

The glass used on both the front and the back of the Galaxy F56 is Gorilla Glass Victus+, while the iQOO Neo 10R uses Schott Xensation Up on the front. Also, note the camera island on the Galaxy phone is metallic. 

As for ingress protection, iQOO has given IP65 dust and water-resistance, whereas the Galaxy F56 doesn’t come with any official ingress rating.

The iQOO phone has a smoother display at a 144Hz refresh rate since the Samsung Galaxy F56 sports only a 120Hz refresh rate.

As for resolution, the iQOO Neo 10R has a higher pixel density of 452 PPI, and the Samsung Galaxy F56 has a 382 PPI. 

iQOO Neo 10R is far brighter too, at 4,500 nits, but the Samsung Galaxy F56 screen is only up to 1,200 nits bright.

Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 10R’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (3.0GHz) is a faster chip than the Samsung Galaxy F56’s Exynos 1480 SoC (2.75GHz). The Snapdragon chip also packs the newer Cortex X4 prime core, Cortex A720 performance cores and Cortex A520 efficiency cores. The Exynos 1480, meanwhile, houses a Cortex A78 and Cortex A55 combination.

The Xclipse 530 GPU on the Exynos chip is faster at 1.3 GHz compared to the 1.1 GHz Adreno 735 on the Snapdragon chip.  

This is coupled with the UFS 3.1 storage option on the Galaxy F56, and the iQOO Neo 10R brings UFS 3.1 as well as UFS 4.1 storage options. You can pick the iQOO phone in the 12GB LPDDR5x RAM option, while the Galaxy F56 is available in 8GB LPDDR5x RAM only.

Samsung Galaxy F56 vs iQOO Neo 10R: cameras

While both phones get a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, the Samsung phone also gets an additional 2MP macro module. Although the iQOO phone doesn’t have a dedicated lens for it, you get a macro mode in the camera settings. 

iQOO, on the other gives you the option to shoot up to 4K60 FPS while the Galaxy phone’s camera maxes out at 4K30 FPS.

On the Galaxy phone, you get to record videos in 10-bit HDR quality, which means a broader dynamic range and richer colours in video. This feature is missing on the iQOO phone.

On the front side, the Samsung phone houses a 12MP “flagship-grade” camera with 10-bit HDR video support. The iQOO phone has a 32MP selfie snapper with 4K60 FPS video support and OIS.

The iQOO Neo 10R packs a bigger 6,400mAh battery with faster 80W charging and also supports 55W PD charging. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy F56 comes with a smaller but still big enough 5,000mAh cell and a fast enough 45W charging speed.

Samsung Galaxy F56 ships with Android 15-based One UI 7, which is a very refined and feature-rich software experience. You can customise several aspects of the UI and get many built-in tools that negate the need for using third-party apps. You even Knox security. It also boasts several AI goodies like Object Eraser, Image Clipper, and Gemini.

On the other hand, the iQOO Neo 10R boots Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. It is also feature-rich and loaded with several useful utilities. AI features on board include Live Cutout (extract subjects from the photo), Circle to Search (to quickly search about what’s on screen), AI Photo Enhance, AI Erase, and AI Notes Assist. 

As for software support, the Galaxy F56 promises 6 years of OS updates and security patches, and the iQOO Neo 10R assures 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches. So, go for Samsung if you value longer support.
