Just in time for the festive season, Samsung has announced a limited period price drop on the Galaxy J2 (2018), Galaxy J2 Core, Galaxy J4, and Galaxy J4 smartphones in India. The new pricing of these devices comes as a part of the company’s Diwali offers. These devices are available at the discounted pricing from October 25th to November 15th. They are up for grabs at the reduced pricing via major brick and mortar stores across the country.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Android Go smartphone is priced at Rs 6,190, but is available for Rs 5,990. The Galaxy J2 (2018) has received a discount of Rs 1,200, and is being offered for Rs 6,990. The Galaxy J4 is now up for grabs for Rs 8,250, down from the earlier price of Rs 9,990. The Galaxy J6’s 32GB model’s earlier cost was Rs 13,990, but can now be purchased for Rs 11,490. The same phone’s 64GB variant can be grabbed for Rs 12,990, down from Rs 16,490.
For a quick recap on the specs, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Android Go handset features a 5-inch qHD TFT LCD screen. The handset offers a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of native storage. The other specs include an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front shooter, 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, and a 2,600mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core features a 5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. The phone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be further increased by inserting a microSD card. The camera specs include an 8MP rear snapper and a 5MP front shooter, both aided by LED flash units. A 2,600mAh battery keeps the handset running.
Moving on to the Galaxy J4, the budget offering is fitted with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, and is fuelled by a quad-core Exynos 7570 processor. The handset comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 2GB + 16GB and 3GB + 32GB. The other notable features include a 13-megapixel primary shooter, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Lastly, the Galaxy J6 is the most high-end offering of them all with a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED screen and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC and a 3,000mAh battery. This one comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The other highlights include a 13MP rear shooter, an 8MP front snapper, and a 3,000mAh battery.
