“After being spotted getting Wi-Fi certification, the Galaxy J7 (2018) has now received the Bluetooth certification”
Several reports in the past have indicated that Samsung will soon be introducing the 2018 variants of its Galaxy J series smartphones, including the Galaxy J7 (2018). Ahead of the unveiling, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) was spotted receiving the Wi-Fi certification with the model number SM-J737A. Now, the same device has been certified by Bluetooth agency’s website as well.
On the Bluetooth certification’s website, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) has been listed in multiple variants. The model numbers of the agency’s site include SM-J737V, SM-J737VPP, SM-J767VL, SM-J737R4, and SM-J737P. The phone’s model number will expectedly vary from market to market and with telecom operators. Posted today, the certification suggests that the Galaxy J7’s 2018 variant will arrive with Bluetooth 4.2 support.
As for the features, the Wi-Fi certification earlier revealed that the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) will boot Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The phone has been suggested to support both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi frequency bands. The reports indicate that the handset will feature a 5-inch display with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The smartphone is expected to be powered by an Exynos 7885 processor, aided by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
Samsung hasn’t yet revealed the launch date for the Galaxy J7 (2018), or the other new Galaxy J series models. However, as the new Galaxy J7 has received both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications, we can expect the phone to be launched soon.
