“Samsung Galaxy M01 is reportedly going to launch in markets like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Russia“
Samsung Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M01s are said to be in active development and they are expected to launch in the next two-three months. Now, in an exclusive report, SamMobile citing sources claims the Galaxy M01 is meant for markets like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Russia. The report also revealed the storage and colour options for the smartphone as well. The Galaxy M01 is tipped to be equipped with 32GB internal storage for the base model and is likely to have a microSD card slot for memory expansion. It will be available in Black, Blue and Red colours, as per the report.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy M01 with model number SM-M015G has also appeared on Geekbench and scored 856 points in single-core and 3327 in multi-core tests, respectively. The listing reveals the phone will run on Android 10 and pack 3GB RAM. While the processor name isn’t clear, it could have a Qualcomm made chipset ticking at its core. The QC_Reference_Phone’ mention in the motherboard section of the Geekbench listing suggests the phone’s development could be in the advanced stages.
It’s possible the Samsung Galaxy M01 might ship with the entry-level Snapdragon 439 SoC and have a 6.4/6.5-inch display, in-line with Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M10s. It could have dual SIM support, 4G connectivity and a beefy battery with no fast-charging support. There could be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and multiple cameras at the back. Unfortunately, that’s everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy M01 at the moment, but we should come across more details soon.
