Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition has been launched in India, as promised. It is the latest budget smartphone in the country and a new entrant in the M-series. Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 is a slightly upgraded version of the original Galaxy M21 that was launched back in March 2020. The handset comes with a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, triple cameras arranged vertically, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone has a textured finish on the back, which seems to be made out of polycarbonate. Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 price in India is Rs 12,499 for the 4GB/64GB and Rs 14,499 for the 6GB/128GB model. The phone comes in Arctic Blue and Charcoal Black colours and will be available for purchase through the Amazon website from July 26th at 12am as part of the Prime Day sale. The phone will be on sale through Samsung.com and offline retailers as well. Since it’s on sale during Amazon Prime Day, customers are entitled to a 10 percent instant discount when paid through HDFC Bank cards.

In comparison, the original Samsung Galaxy M21 launched in March 2020 at a starting price of Rs 13,499 for the 4GB/64GB storage.

Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper. It is powered by the dated Exynos 9611 SoC with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone boots Android 11-based OneUI custom skin out of the box and packs a 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support.

Moving to optics, the Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 edition has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth sensor. Connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
