- Samsung Galaxy M31s sales will commence on August 6th in India
- Its price is rumoured to be around Rs 20,000
- Rumoured specifications include Super AMOLED display, 6,000mAh battery, and 64MP quad-cameras
Samsung Galaxy M31s, the follow-up to Galaxy M31, is one of the most eagerly anticipated smartphones from the South Korean brand. Now, 91mobiles has learnt from an industry source that the handset will go on sale in India starting August 6th. As per our sources, the handset will be sold through Samsung’s own online store and Amazon.in in the country, which is in line with an earlier report. To recall, a recent report stated that the Galaxy M31s will be launched later this month, which would make sense if the handset is set to go on sale starting August 6th. We have also obtained new renders of the Galaxy M31s, which show an L-shaped quad-camera setup assisted by an LED flash at the back, while a punch-hole display sits at the front.
Samsung Galaxy M31s leaked specifications
As per the leaked specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M31s will be powered by the Exynos 9611 SoC. The chipset is expected to be coupled with 6GB RAM, but there are other RAM variants to be launched as well. The base model has been tipped to feature 64GB storage, which should be expandable via a microSD card. On the software side, you can expect Galaxy M31s to run Android 10 OS with OneUI 2.1 custom skin on top out of the box.
In the optics department, the primary 64MP sensor is expected to be assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. While previous leaks suggested that the Samsung Galaxy M31s could have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, the newly obtained renders do not show such a sensor, which could indicate an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset has been tipped to feature 15W fast-charging support. We should know the official Samsung Galaxy M31s India launch details and price soon enough as the month’s end is not too far.
