Judging by the specs, we can expect the Galaxy M33 5G to be priced higher out of the two while the Galaxy M23 5G could be an affordable mid-range offering. We can expect the company to announce the pricing for the handsets in the coming days.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G specifications

Let’s talk about Galaxy M33 5G specifications first, the handset is powered by an octa-core processor but the brand hasn’t revealed the chipset name. If we go by the Geekbench listings, the phone most likely features Exynos 1200 SoC. As mentioned earlier, the handset features a 6.6-inch FHD+ (2,408×1080 pixels) LCD display with a dew-drop notch design upfront for an 8MP selfie camera. The Galaxy M33 5G runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box and can be purchased in two configurations – 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. The built-in storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The Galaxy M23 5G also packs an octa-core chipset, which is believed to be Snapdragon 750G. As far as software is concerned, the phone boots up Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box. The Galaxy M23 5G will be available with 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage (expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card). 

Moving on to the primary camera setup, unlike the square-shaped cutout on the Galaxy M33 5G, the module on Galaxy M23 5G is in a rectangular shape with rounded edges. The triple camera setup is headlined by a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and comes with OIS (optical image stabilisation) support. The primary sensor is assisted by an 8MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth unit with f/2.4 aperture. For video-calling, there is an 8MP camera upfront.
