Samsung Galaxy M40 price in offline stores in India will be Rs 20,490, 91mobiles has learned about the details from its retail sources. The sources also say that Samsung is planning to bring its online-exclusive Galaxy M40 to retail stores as well. While there is no word on its availability yet, we can tell that the handset in the offline market will be slightly expensive than the online market, where it’s selling at Rs 19,990. Samsung Galaxy M40 was launched in the country last month, and it comes in 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. Apart from this, the phone is among the most affordable phones with a punch-hole display, triple rear cameras, and sound-on-display technology.

For those unaware, Samsung Galaxy M40 runs Android 9 Pie-based One UI out of the box. The handset sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O display with a punch-hole for selfie camera at the top left corner. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB user-expandable storage. The Galaxy M40 also boasts of a unique Screen SoundCasting technology that turns the whole screen of the smartphone into the earpiece.
For photography, Samsung Galaxy M40 sports a triple rear camera that comprises of 32-megapixel primary sensor + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens + 5-megapixel depth-sensing shooter. The front camera gets a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS with GLONASS. The phone lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, making it the first Samsung device to do so. For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as Face ID feature.
