- Samsung Galaxy M51 (SM-M515F) and Galaxy M31s (SM-M317F) are reportedly in development
- Both smartphones are said to come with 128GB storage, though a 64GB option may launch later as well
Samsung Galaxy M51 and Galaxy M31s smartphones with model numbers SM-M515F and SM-M317F, respectively, are reportedly in development. Both the smartphones are headed to the Indian market, according to a report from SamMobile. The two upcoming Samsung models are said to ship with 128GB storage, but there could be a lower-tier 64GB option in the works as well. That’s all the information the new report provides, but this certainly isn’t the first time we’re hearing about the Galaxy M51 as we came across its renders back in March. The renders showed off a punch-hole design with slim bezels and vertically arranged triple camera sensors in the rectangular module.
As per the leaked renders, the Samsung Galaxy M51 has a physical fingerprint sensor at the back. It has narrow bezels across all corners except at the bottom. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right spine, while the SIM tray could be on the right side. The USB Type-C port and speaker grills are at the bottom, and the 3.5mm headphone is up top. Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t reveal the internal hardware but the phone could ship with an AMOLED display, a mid-range Exynos chipset, and Android 10 OS with OneUI 2.0 custom skin. The triple camera sensors could include a high-resolution primary sensor, a wide-angle lens, and a macro or depth sensor. Since the legitimacy of the leak couldn’t be confirmed, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
As for the Galaxy M31s, not much else is known but it could come as an upgrade to the existing Galaxy M31 with minimal design and specifications changes. Unfortunately, not much else is known both the phones, but since the development has just started, they may launch in the latter half of the year.
