[Exclusive] Samsung Galaxy Note 10 India launch on August 20th, global sales begin on August 22nd

“Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series will be released worldwide on August 22nd, not August 23rd, according to the source”

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 India launch will be held on August 20th, a company official who wishes to remain anonymous has told 91mobiles. Apart from the launch date, the source has also revealed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and its Plus model will be made available for purchase in the country starting August 22nd. Contrary to a recent report, the company insider has also said the handset will be released internationally on August 22nd, not August 23rd. As the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is set to go official later this week, it is definitely good to know that the brand is planning to continue with its tradition of releasing smartphones in India along with their international debut.

Just recently, an official site listing confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will feature 25W Superfast Charge, which is currently supported by Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and Samsung Galaxy A80. This would be a welcome change as most brands are trying to include increasingly fast-charging support on their handsets at this point.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ specifications

If we talk about the specifications, the Galaxy Note 10+ is expected to sport a slightly large 6.8-inch display, while the standard model has been tipped to sport a 6.4-inch Dynamic OLED Infinity-O display. Both the variants are said to be powered by the Exynos 9825 SoC. The Plus model could feature a quad-camera setup, consisting of a 12-megapixel primary sensor with variable aperture (f/1.5 – f/2.4) + 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 + 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom + a ToF sensor. There is a 10-megapixel snapper on the front taking care of the selfies.

Unlike the Galaxy S10 series, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 display’s punch hole is expected to be placed in the middle of the top. The flagship will reportedly be ditching the 3.5mm audio jack as well, unfortunately. The South Korean giant is expected to release as many as four new models in the series – the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ with 4G, along with their 5G variants. Since the launch is on Wednesday, we should know more details soon.
