“Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s BIS certification confirmed last week that the handset will be launched in India”
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has been a part of leaks and rumours for some time now but now the handset, with model number SM-N770F, has been spotted at FCC, which suggests that the smartphone’s launch might just be around the corner. Notably, although the FCC listing doesn’t reveal much new information about the handset’s specifications, it does confirm that the handset will be launched in the US. To recall, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s BIS certification was spotted last week and confirmed that the handset will make its way to India as well. In case you have not been keeping track, the phone was earlier expected to be launched later this month but we exclusively reported that its launch has now been pushed to mid-January 2020.
If we talk about pricing details, a recent leak suggested that the handset will carry a price tag of EUR 609 (around Rs 48,000), which as you might have expected from a Lite version, is cheaper than the regular Galaxy Note 10.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite specifications
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is expected to be powered by the brand’s in-house Exynos 9810 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and up to 128 or 256GB of built-in storage that should be further expandable. The display size for the handset is tipped to be between 6.5 to 6.7-inches, while the overall measure of the phone has been tipped to be 163.9 x 76 x 8.6mm. On the software side, the handset is likely to run on Android 10 out of the box with One UI 2 custom skin on top. Just like the regular Galaxy Note models, the Lite version is also expected to feature S-Pen support. Interestingly, the phone is expected to feature the 3.5mm audio jack. As per the leaked Geekbench benchmark scores, the handset managed to score 667 points in single-core and 2030 points in the multi-core test.
As you can see in the exclusive Galaxy Note 10 Lite renders that we shared with you, the handset will come with a design that includes a centred punch-hole display and a rectangular rear camera module. We’re yet to know the Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s back camera details, but the front camera is expected to include a 32MP sensor.
