According to trusted sources, SM-N975 and SM-N976 are model numbers of two separate Samsung Galaxy Note10 series handsets. This information is in contrast to previous speculations that they are the model numbers of the 4G and 5G variants of the standard Galaxy Note10. Instead, we have learnt that the SM-N975 is the model number for the Galaxy Note10, while the SM-N976 is for the Galaxy Note10 Pro. They are referred to as Project D2 and Project D2-X, respectively.

In terms of specifications, our source says the Galaxy Note10 will feature a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, 128GB base storage, and 4,170mAh battery (typical). On the other hand, the Pro model is said to have a slightly bigger 6.8-inch Super AMOLED panel, 256GB storage as standard (and options going up to 1TB), and the same 4,170mAh cell as its sibling. The display sizes, it should be noted, are a shade larger than the previously reported 6.3-inch and 6.75-inch panels for the two handsets.

There are other other models, namely SM-N970 and SM-N971, that are being developed under the Project D1. However, our source could not ascertain details about them at the moment. Previous reports have said that the SM-N970 model number belongs to the Samsung Galaxy Note10e.

According to leaks and rumours, the Samsung Galaxy Note10 will be powered by Snapdragon 855 / Exynos 9825 processor, and feature vertically-stacked triple rear cameras as well as in-display fingerprint sensor. The handsets are also said to sport a punch-hole display with the selfie camera positioned in the middle rather than on the side. The handset is also rumoured to support 25W fast-charging tech as well as UFS 3.0 storage, but is said to be the first flagship from the brand to lose out on the 3.5mm earphone jack. As mentioned above, the launch date is rumoured as August 10th and price bracket for the standard model has been tipped as $1,000-$1,200 (about Rs 70,000 to Rs 84,000).
