Samsung has launched a custom Star Wars edition of its flagship Galaxy Note 10+ (review) in the US. The special edition handset has been unveiled right ahead of the movie franchise’s upcoming release – Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which is all set to hit the theatres on December 20th. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Star Wars Special edition, unlike the regular edition, comes with stealthy black colour scheme with red accents and a contrasting S Pen. The phone will also be accompanied by custom Galaxy Buds with a matching red and black case, a custom case, and a metal badge. Samsung is the second phonemaker after OnePlus (OnePlus 5T) to launch a Star Wars edition smartphone.

The Galaxy Note 10+ Star Wars Special Edition has been priced at $1,299 that roughly translates to Rs 93,500 in the Indian currency for the unlocked version. The handset will be available (in limited numbers) for sale in the US starting from December 13th from Amazon, select Best Buy and Microsoft stores, Samsung.com and the Samsung Experience Stores. The phone is also said to hit other markets, including Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UAE, and the UK, later.

Apart from the design, Samsung has added custom digital content as well, such as exclusive Star Wars-themed wallpapers, shutdown animations, icons, and tunes to the Galaxy Note 10+ Star Wars Special Edition phone. The internals, meanwhile, remain the same as the regular Note 10 variant.
You get a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED punch-hole display with HDR 10+ and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset is powered by Exynos 9825 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB native storage. For photography, the Galaxy Note 10+ rocks 12MP + 12MP + 16MP + 3D ToF quad-camera setup at the back and 10-megapixel snapper on the front for selfies and video calling. The entire setup is driven by a 4,300mAh battery with 45W fast-charging support. The handset boots Android 9 Pie-based One UI out of the box.
