Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ spotted on 3C with 25W fast charging support

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 line-up and the Galaxy Fold 2 are expected to debut in August 2020. We recently came across the CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20+, showing a familiar design with a rectangular camera module at the back and a punch-hole design at the front. Now, as a part of the leak chain, more details about the high-end model have surfaced online, thanks to China’s 3C certification. According to the listing, the Galaxy Note 20+ with model number SM-N9860 will have support for 5G connectivity and 25W (9V/2.77A PD or 11V/2.25A PPS) fast wired charging. It may ship with Samsung’s EP-TA800 charger that supports USB-PD and PPS.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ is rumoured to pack a 6.9-inch display, which could be the Dynamic AMOLED QHD+ panel seen on the Galaxy S20 but with a refined 120Hz panel and Corning Gorilla Glass layer on top. It could be powered by the in-house Exynos 992/ Snapdragon 865 SoC and should be available in 16GB RAM model as well. The handset is likely to boot Android 10 OS with OneUI custom skin on top.

Moving to the optics, Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ has the same rectangular camera module seen on the S20 Ultra but the optics could be different. Rumours hint that it could ship with the 108MP primary camera, accompanied by a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens. It is said to pack a 4,500mAh battery and pack an improved in-display fingerprint reader for security. We should know more details going forward.
