“This year’s Galaxy Note series might come with three models: Galaxy Note10, Note10e, and Note10 Pro”
As there have been numerous leaks and rumours regarding the Galaxy Note10 smartphones, it isn’t surprising to see reports about its launch date. The upcoming flagship from Samsung will be unpacked at an event New York on August 7th, people familiar with the company’s plans told CNET. The launch event is said to take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which – if you recall – is the same place the chaebol launched its Galaxy Note9 smartphone last year. This is contrary to the previous reports, which had claimed the Galaxy Note10 launch date to be August 10th.
The CNET report further adds that “since the launch isn’t for two months, the company could change its plans.” There is no confirmation from Samsung on the Galaxy Note10 launch yet, but we can tell you it’ll most likely be in August. Also, there have been reports that the 10th anniversary Note series smartphone could come in three models, namely Galaxy Note10e, Galaxy Note10, and the Galaxy Note10 Pro.
Needless to say, the Galaxy Note10e will be the most affordable smartphone in the lineup, followed by the standard Note 10 and Note 10 Pro. The latter are both expected to come with an Infinity-O display, just like the Galaxy S10 series; however, this time the punch-hole for selfie cameras has been tipped to be at the center of the display. The handsets are expected to come without 3.5mm headphone jack, boast triple rear cameras and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The Note10 will reportedly ship with a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, 128GB base storage, and 4,170mAh battery, while the Note10 Pro could arrive with a slightly bigger screen – 6.8-inch Super AMOLED panel, up to 1TB onboard storage, and the same 4,170mAh cell as its sibling.
As for the Galaxy Note10e, there is little to no information available about the handset at the moment, except that it’ll pack 3,400mAh battery. Keep watching the space to know more about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note10 smartphones.
