“Samsung Galaxy S9+ gets the most cashback at Rs 10,000 from Paytm, followed by Galaxy Note9 and Galaxy S9”
Samsung India is continuing its efforts to boost its sales from offline channels by offering cashback on a number of smartphones. These include flagship models such as Galaxy Note9 and Galaxy S9+, mid-rangers such as Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy A9 (2018), and affordable models such as Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8, along with tablets. This is the latest move on Samsung’s part to make its smartphones more affordable by lowering the effective prices as it continues to face competition from the likes of Xiaomi, Vivo, and OPPO in the Indian market.
According to details shared by offline retail sources with 91mobiles, select Samsung Galaxy series smartphones and tablets are available with cashbacks on transactions made using Paytm and HDFC Bank. The biggest cashback is on the Samsung Galaxy S9+, which will get cashback of Rs 10,000 on payments made using Paytm; those who pay using HDFC Bank cards will get cashback of Rs 6,000. Both the Samsung Galaxy Note9 and Galaxy S9 smartphones will get up to Rs 6,000 cashback each on Paytm or HDFC Bank transactions. Both Paytm and HDFC Bank payments on purchasing Galaxy A7 (2018) with triple rear cameras will net the buyers Rs 2,000 cashback.
On the other hand, only HDFC Bank is providing cashback on Samsung Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S8, and Galaxy S8+; this cashback goes up to Rs 4,000. Similarly, buyers can get cashback of up to Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000, Rs 1,500, and Rs 1,000 on Galaxy A9 (2018) with four rear cameras, Galaxy A8+ (2018), Galaxy J8, and Galaxy J6 using HDFC Bank cards, respectively. The bank is also providing cashback of up to Rs 5,000 on the new Galaxy Tab S4 flagship tablet in offline retail stores.
Lastly, if you are in the market for a more affordable tablet, then you can get the Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy Tab A 10.5 with cashbacks of Rs 4,500 and Rs 3,000, respectively. These cashbacks are only on Paytm transactions in the country.
