After its launch in the home market, the Galaxy S10 5G will reportedly make its way to the US later this month, followed by a number of European markets. As per a previous report, the brand is also offering free Galaxy Buds wireless earbuds and a wireless charger to buyers who register their handset with the company between April 5th to April 16th.
Alongside adding the latest connectivity support and better fast-charging technology, Samsung has made some obvious changes on the screen size, camera module, and battery size. This starts with a larger 6.7-inch screen (with an unchanged 19:9 screen aspect ratio) compared to 6.4-inch on the Galaxy S10+. Then there is an addition of a camera sensor on the back. Last but not least, there will be a beefy battery of 4,500 mAh capacity in the new 5G model. Rest of the specifications are expected to remain the same, including the processor, biometric sensors, and IP rating.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G price is pretty high, as one would expect from the world’s first publicly available 5G smartphone. The base 256GB variant costs KRW 1.39 million (about $1,220 or Rs 84,400), while the 512GB option has a retail price of KRW 1.55 million (roughly $1,350 or Rs 93,400).
