“The Galaxy S10 is expected to be introduced early next year with an in-display fingerprint sensor”
Samsung‘s experiment with the triple rear cameras on Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphone was just a trailer. The full movie will be released next year with the next-gen Galaxy S-series smartphone, likely to be called Galaxy S10. The handset is expected to flaunt triple cameras on the back panel for better photography. Until now, the sensor details were scarce; however, the latest leak of the alleged handset has left nothing to the imagination.
As per the image (above), the Galaxy S10 will be codenamed as ‘Beyond’. For photography, the handset is reported to feature a 12-megapixel primary sensor with dual aperture lens of f/1.5 and f/2.4 and OIS support. The secondary sensor is tipped to be 16-megapixel with f/1.9 aperture, while the third will be 13-megapixel f/2.4 sensor with OIS. Notably, the additional sensor on the S10 will be an ultra-wide lens with 123-degree field of view for more peripheral vision. We expect to learn more details about the cameras in the near future.
In related news, the Galaxy S10 is reported to come with an ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor embedded on the display on the front. The phone is rumoured to come in three screen sizes: 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch, powered by Exynos 9820 SoC. The device is likely to ship with up to 8GB of RAM and maximum of 512GB internal storage. Further, the S10 is likely to boot the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box with Samsung’s custom Experience skin applied on top.
