“The Galaxy S10 lineup is tipped to feature an under-display fingerprint sensor”
Samsung’s 2019 flagship, the Galaxy S10 has been under the spotlight lately, thanks to a number of leaks. Most recently, the handset was reported to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint. Now, according to the images acquired by Lei technology, we now have a visual of how the Galaxy S10 might look like.
The phone will allegedly come in two variants — one with triple rear cameras and the other with dual cameras at the back. The snappers will be horizontally stacked on both the S10 variants with LED flash just below the module. Moreover, the phone doesn’t seem to sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, thereby corroborating with the previous leaks that the flagship will ship with the under-the-display FPS. The same source further reveals that Samsung’s triple camera phone will boast a 12MP wide-angle shooter, 12MP telephoto lens, and a 16MP super wide-angle lens. Sadly, no other specs are detailed by the leak.
As per the earlier leaks, 2019’s Galaxy S series will have three variants. The notable difference between them will be screen sizes of 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.4-inches, respectively. It’s also rumoured that only 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch models will have an in-display fingerprint sensor, whereas the 5.8-inch model will continue to sport a fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the phone is expected to rock Exynos 9820 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB storage.
The Galaxy S10 is likely to make debut in February at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. We hope to see more rumours and leaks as we get closer to the launch event.
