“Samsung Galaxy S10+ display live image shows the dual front cameras that are in line with the renders published yesterday”
Samsung Galaxy S10+ is shaping up to be a pretty exciting smartphone, with specifications much better than those of the standard variant. Just yesterday, 91mobiles published detailed renders of the Galaxy S10+, with the triple camera setup on the back and dual sensors for selfies in the front. Now, a new live image of the display panel of the Galaxy S10+ has appeared on Chinese social media platform Weibo, confirming the cutout for the dual selfie cameras.
The Galaxy S10+ display in the image has thin bezels on the sides as well as the top, while the chin at the bottom is somewhat thicker. There is a small cutout for the earpiece on the top of the display, while the sides are curved. On the top-right corner are the cutouts for dual selfie camera, with one appearing slightly bigger than the other. This design of the Galaxy S10+ leaked display panel is in line with the images we published exclusively, with the placement of the two selfie cameras same in both.
Samsung Galaxy S10+ is expected to launch in late February at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. It is rumoured to come with a 6.44-inch display Infinity O display that has a cutout drilled into the screen panel to ensure a full-screen display without incorporating a notch. The smartphone will reportedly hide the selfie camera cutout while playing videos so that the user experience remains uninterrupted and immersive.
The smartphone is also said to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and three rear cameras, with one standard, one wide-angle, and one telephoto lens. Other rumoured features about the handset include the Exynos 9820 SoC fabricated on the 8nm process and a dedicated neural processing core. Other variants in the series are said to include Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 5G, with slight variations in specifications.
