“The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is expected to come with a 6.4-inch 2K+ AMOLED Infinity-O display”
Samsung’s upcoming premium smartphones, the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Lite, and Galaxy S10+ have been subjected to a plethora of rumours and leaks in recent times. Recently, a series of renders of both the Galaxy S10 and S10+ were spotted on the Internet. Now, a new leaked image has been spotted showing the screen protector of the S10+, which corroborates with the leak we saw earlier.
The leaked image comes from the popular tipster Ice Universe and was posted on Twitter. The picture shows a person holding the alleged tempered glass screen protector for the high-end variant of the upcoming flagship from the South Korean brand. We can see in the image that the smartphone will have two holes in the top right corner of the display for the selfie camera setup, thus confirming the presence of Infinity-O display panel. The screen protector also reveals that the smartphone will have significantly thinner bezels than its predecessor. There are a couple of images comparing the screen protector to the bezels on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Apple iPhone X.
To recap on the spec sheet of the Galaxy S10+, the smartphone is expected to come with a 6.4-inch 2K Super AMOLED display and measure 148.9 x 70.9 x 7.8mm. The Galaxy S10+ is also tipped to have an industry-leading screen-to-body ratio of 93.4 percent. The handset is speculated to be powered by either Snapdragon 855 SoC or Exynos 9820 SoC depending on the regions they are launched in. Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S10+ in configurations up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB expandable storage. While there are no details available of Galaxy S10+’s camera setup, renders have revealed a triple camera module. Other specs and details of the next flagship is pretty vague at the moment.
If a recent report is to believed, Galaxy S10+ will reportedly cost about Rs 75,000 for the base variant. We will bring more updates as and when they emerge, so stay tuned.
