Samsung Galaxy S10+ live image allegedly leaked; new details revealed by user

“The Samsung Galaxy S10+ has been spotted in the wild, revealing design and other details”

Although we have seen several leaked renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10+, we haven’t seen it in real-life, until now. Earlier today, a Reddit user posted an image of what appears to the Galaxy S10+ being used in the public. A Samsung employee was spotted using the upcoming flagship phone on a bus in South Korea and someone took a photo. This happens a lot, as sometimes these test users aren’t aware of their surroundings and tend to slip up.

In the photo, you can clearly see the dual-front facing cameras placed inside a cutout on the display. The device is, however, covered in a camouflage case that hides the actual design of the phone. Still, the camera cutout is on the right top corner of the display is in line with the renders we exclusively published last month. Therefore, we can pretty much agree that this is indeed an actual image of the phone.

The image also shows the display has rounded edges and the bezels appear to be very thin – again, as seen on the rendered images. A random Redditor posted this image on the platform, but another user came out saying that he also has a Galaxy S10+ and revealed several details of the upcoming flagship.

According to the Reddit user, the phone in the image doesn’t have the security software, stating that the employee will definitely get in trouble over this. He claimed that he has one as well and opened up for questions.

As per his answers, the Galaxy S10+ is similar to the size of the Galaxy Note 9 (review), but is lighter. The UI is also clean and fast as it runs the new One UI from Samsung. In the status bar, the clock is placed on the left and the other icons for Wi-Fi, Ringer, Bluetooth, Battery etc are on the right, followed by the hole. According to him, the hole isn’t very noticeable when using. He states that the in-display fingerprint is good, but the facial recognition is much faster and more advanced, similar to Face ID.

We will have to wait till February 20th to find out if any or all of this true when Samsung takes the covers off the Galaxy S10 ser
