“Here’s another good first look at the Samsung Galaxy S10 series in its full glory ahead of the launch”
Just when you thought there wasn’t anything left to know about the Samsung Galaxy S10 series, we have a new video of the upcoming flagships. Shot by the folks over at TechRadar, it has apparently been published accidentally – though the original video was taken down, some viewers managed to download the clip and re-upload it on their own social media. The video is 2 minutes and 11 seconds long and shows us some of the differences between the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ as well as their key new features.
Now, a lot of what we see in the video is already known including the sizes and designs of the smartphones but there is some stuff worth noting here. The Galaxy Buds are coming for sure, as the video shows the reverse wireless charging feature of the Galaxy S10+ in action charging Samsung’s latest wireless buds as well as an iPhone XS Max. Both the Samsung flagships also shown to have ultra-wide angle lens as part of the triple rear camera setup, along with the primary camera and telephoto lens.
The in-display fingerprint sensor on the new phones is also shown in action on the video but there is no detail regarding its actual inner workings. So, Samsung will have at least something to show the public on day zero. The upcoming flagship phones will be first in the world to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is faster and more accurate than the optical ones we have seen so far.
A recent leak over the weekend hinted at the pricing of the high-end variant of the Galaxy S10+. This will be the world’s first 1TB smartphone and will warrant an astronomical RMB 10,000 (about Rs 1,05,000) price tag. The model will have 12GB of RAM and sport a Ceramic build instead of a glass-metal material and come in Black and White hues.
