“Samsung Galaxy S11 is expected to come with Deep-Fusion camera technology and an in-display fingerprint sensor”

Apple iPhone 11-series camera performance has been widely appreciated for its vast improvement over predecessors. Now, to take on Apple iPhone cameras, Samsung is said to working on completely overhauling its cameras on the upcoming Galaxy S11 series. According to a report from Bloomberg citing sources familiar with the matter, the S-series flagship would rock a 108MP primary sensor coupled with an ultra-wide-angle lens and 5X optical zoom, reiterating earlier rumours. It could also include a time-of-flight sensor for portrait shots similar to the Galaxy Note 10+. Samsung is known to be working on a clamshell foldable device, and this, too, is said to rock the 108MP sensor and 5X zoom. It is expected to launch in February alongside the Galaxy S11 flagship series.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co has designed the 5x zoom module, and production has started earlier this year.

With foldable phone and 5G connectivity, Samsung will have the edge over Apple until it refreshes the iPhone line-up in September 2020. On the other hand, Huawei is falling behind in the race, mostly because of the US trade ban. Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co has designed the 5X zoom module, and its production started earlier this year. The Samsung Galaxy S11-series is expected to launch on February 18th, and since we’re months away, we should come across more information as we approach the date.

Separately, the Samsung Galaxy S11-series is tipped to come with 120Hz refresh rate, 5G connectivity and is likely to run on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 custom skin. The flagships are also capable of recording 8K videos. The Samsung Galaxy S11e to reportedly sport a 6.3-inch/6.4-inch screen, while the Galaxy S11 and S11 Plus might feature a 6.7 and 6.9-inch screens, respectively.
