Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is the company’s mid-range flagship to take on the likes of OnePlus and Xiaomi flagships in the segment. Considering the phone’s reception has been good across the globe, the South Korean giant is busy planning a successor, dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. According to noted analyst Ross Young, the handset will go into production from July this year. It will be offered in four colour options — White, Light Violet, Light Green and Gray colour options and these will be available in the US. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked launch event that is expected to be scheduled on August 19th.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications and design
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications could include a 6.4-inch display with probably a 120Hz refresh rate, an AMOLED panel and an FHD+ resolution. The device is said to measure 155.7 x 71.45 x 7.9mm, meaning it will be larger than the Galaxy S21 but slightly smaller than the Galaxy S20 FE. The phone is tipped to pack a 32MP selfie snapper, a 4,500mAh battery and probably have fast-charging support. It is likely to run Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 custom skin out of the box and connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging. The phone should be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with 128GB and 256GB storage options.

Earlier reports have suggested the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to feature a design similar to the Galaxy S21. It has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, narrow bezels, a rectangular camera module at the back with triple sensors and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The phone has a USB Type-C port and the speaker grille are present on the bottom. The volume rocker and power button are on the right spine.
