This could mean that we’ll be seeing more Galaxy Note-specific features in the upcoming Galaxy S series phones, most likely the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with S Pen support. For those unaware, Samsung hasn’t launched a Galaxy Note series phone in 2021, instead, it introduced new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. President Roh has acknowledged the disappointment of fans when 2021 year had passed without a Note device and said the feedback has been taken in designing the upcoming S-series phone, which it calls “the most noteworthy S series device.”
Talking about the phone (possibly the Galaxy S22 Ultra), the top executive said that users will be able to own the night with it by taking the best and brightest photos and videos ever captured on a smartphone. “You will also dominate the day with power, speed and tools that can’t be found elsewhere. You will enjoy cutting edge-innovations made possible thanks to the smartest Galaxy experience yet. All while feeling good about being part of the most sustainable Galaxy ecosystem,” said the press note.
This doesn’t come as surprise since the Samsung Galaxy S22 series leaks have made it quite evident the company is planning on projecting the Ultra model as a Note series alternative, thanks to its large display and support for S Pen, among other features. The launch will walk us through the productivity changes and other notable additions to the phone.
