  • Samsung Galaxy S22 Snapdragon 898 version will reportedly launch in India.
  • Verizon is said to be negotiating with Samsung to bring Exynos-powered Galaxy S22 to the United States.

It’s been a long time since Samsung launched a Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S flagship smartphone in India. The company recently launched the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G in India, which are powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset. Earlier this year, Samsung also launched the Galaxy S20 FE 5G with Snapdragon 865 chipset. But, other than these few selected smartphones, Samsung has typically launched Exynos-powered flagships in the country for a long time. Now, a new report claims that the South Korean electronics giant plans to launch the Snapdragon 898-powered Samsung Galaxy S22 series in India instead of the Exynos version. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to arrive sometime in January or February 2022.
