Samsung Galaxy S22 series launched in India last month and the lineup included three models: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The phones have received fairly good reviews, barring the throttling issue, and is also the first time that the company’s S-series shipped with a flagship Snapdragon chipset instead of Exynos in India. The Galaxy S22 Ultra shipped in two variants – 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. Now, the South Korean giant has launched a new 1TB storage variant of the Galaxy S22 Ultra in India.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra price in India, sale details
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB model is priced at Rs 1,34,999 and it will be available at an exclusive sale event on Samsung Live, which is the company’s own live commerce platform, on March 28th at 6 PM IST. Customers purchasing the phone during the live sale event will get the Galaxy Watch4 at Rs 2,999. The company is offering an upgrade bonus of Rs 8,000 for the Galaxy S and Note series, while other device holders will get a bonus of Rs 5,000. The 1TB storage model will be available exclusively via the Samsung webstore.
In comparison, the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 1,09,999, while the 12GB + 512GB costs Rs 1,18,999. It comes in Burgundy and Phantom Black colours, while the 256GB model also gets the Phantom White colour option.

To recall the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra flaunts a 6.8-inch QHD+ Edge Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz sampling rate, Vision Booster, Eye Comfort Shield, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. The phone packs up to 12GB LPDDRX RAM and 1TB internal storage. It runs on Android 12 with OneUI 4.1 custom skin out of the box.

There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, AKG speakers, and S Pen support. A 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support, 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS+GLONASS, NFC, MST, and USB Type-C port.
Moving to optics, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 108MP primary wide camera with f/1.8, dual pixel autofocus, and OIS, a 12MP f/1.8 ultra-wide camera with 120-degree FoV, and a couple of 10MP telephoto sensors with f/2.4 and f/4.8 aperture. It has a 40MP sensor on the front with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video chats.
