The company is yet to announce the official launch date of the Galaxy Unpacked event, though rumours suggest the Galaxy S22 series could launch in February in select markets and later make its way to the global market. Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Ultra specifications (leaked)

According to the leaked image, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a quad-camera setup with a 108MP SuperClear lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and two 10MP telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x zoom and OIS support. Under the hood, the device is powered by Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It will weigh 228g.

The handset flaunts a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED 2X display with a 3080 x 1440 resolution and a centred punch-hole cutout, which houses a 40MP front camera. It will come with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery, which is said to support 45W fast charging. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in four colour options: Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, Burgundy.

The leak also sheds light on key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S22. The vanilla model will come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED 2X display and a triple camera setup at the back. The handset will be available in three colour options, i.e. Green, Phantom White, and Phantom Black. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the Samsung Galaxy S22 at the moment.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series at the unpacked event.
