Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for February 1st, where the company will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Now, the South Korean giant has released the first set of teaser videos of the flagships. The short clips posted by Samsung China show camera-related improvements for the Galaxy S23 series. The first video reads, “Megapixels that will make you say wooow.” This could be a reference to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra‘s rumoured 200MP shooter upgrade from a 108MP lens.
The second video notes that ‘Stunning night photos are coming.” This could be a reference to the recent claims of tipster Ice Universe that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have low-light photography improvements.

The new teaser videos come ahead of the launch on February 1st. For now, the Samsung China handle has only posted these two video clips but we can speculate there will be many more to come in the next few days.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series specifications
Samsung Galaxy S23 is tipped to flaunt a 6.1-inch display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout. While the S23 Plus and S23 Ultra are expected to pack 6.6-inch and 6.8-inch displays, respectively. The Ultra model could get a QHD+ resolution with a Dynamic AMOLED screen.
The phones are likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/512GB storage. All the models will be running on Android 13-based OneUI 5.0 custom skin out of the box. All three models could come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, USB Type-C audio, IP68 rating for water resistance, and 15W Qi wireless charging support.
Moving to optics, the vanilla Galaxy S23 will have a 50MP primary camera with an LED Flash and OIS, a 12MP 120-degree FoV and a 10MP telephoto sensor. There is a 10MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus could also get similar hardware. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to come with triple cameras on the back, with a 200MP primary camera with 1/1.3″, 0.6µm, a 12MP secondary lens, and 3x and 10x telephoto cameras. While the front camera details are under wraps at the moment.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is said to pack a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The Galaxy S23 Plus is likely to get a 4,700mAh cell and lastly, the Ultra version could get a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
