
After some delay but earlier than the expected timeline, Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 stable update for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra users in India and global markets. The build is around 5GB in size, and the changelog is long-winded. Below, you can read the top features of this release. Samsung Galaxy S23 series One UI 7 update: how to
The One UI 7.0 file size on our Galaxy S23 is 5040.51 MB. If you are coming from Samsung’s beta program, then the file size may only be 900 MB. The build numbers of this release are S911BXXU8DYD9 / S911BOXM8DYD9 / S911BXXU8DYD9.
You can check for the update in the following way:
Step 1: Open the Settings menu on your Galaxy phone.
Step 2: Scroll to the bottom and tap on the Software Update option.
Step 3: Tap on the Download and Install option.
Step 4: Provided you have a stable internet connection, Indian S23 users should see the One UI 7.0 update. The device will start downloading the file. And once it is ready, it will ask for a restart to complete the installation process.
For safe measure, we suggest you remove the lockscreen security since Samsung had to previously pause the rollout due to a lockscreen-related bug. The pro users among you may even want to wipe the cache partition after updating for a smoother experience.
