Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specifications like display brightness, memory tipped ahead of launch

Highlights
  • The phone could have a QHD+ display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate.
  • Being a thin phone (supposedly around 6mm thick), the phone could have a narrower vapour chamber than what’s inside the Galaxy S25.
  • The Galaxy S25 Edge could have 5G connectivity support like other S25 phones.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is a highly anticipated phone thanks to its thin design and smart teaser by Samsung at the Galaxy Unpacked event last month. The phone is expected to launch in April 2025 only but a tipster claims to have its “confirmed” details. This includes the Galaxy S25 Edge specifications like 2,600 nits of peak brightness and 12GB of RAM (like other Galaxy S25 models).

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specs tipped

After previously sharing the phone’s rear camera and display protection details, tipster PandaFlash has now divulged several other specs.

  • The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge front camera is said to be a 12MP snapper. Meanwhile, the rear cameras could include a 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide shooter.
  • This could be sitting within a central punch hole. The display could sport 2,600 nits peak brightness like other S25 siblings. It could have 1.32mm bezels and the Pro Scaler (upscaling technology) from the S25 Ultra. The visuals could look lifelike with brighter colours. In the case of the S25 Ultra, this feature requires QHD+ resolution and so, the Edge could also have this resolution support.

  • Further, the display could be 6.7 inches diagonally, have a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the top and Armor Aluminum frame on the side. Beneath the screen, there could be an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
  • Being a thin phone (supposedly around 5.84mm thick), the phone could have a narrower vapour chamber than what’s inside the Galaxy S25.
  • Well similar to the vanilla S25, the phone could have 25W charging speed only. The battery size is expected to be about 3,900mAh.
  • However, PandaFlash says despite the thin form factor, the phone could be just as powerful thanks to the underlying Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, UFS 4.0 storage, and 12GB RAM.
  • It could also retain a dual-speaker setup and 5G connectivity support as its brethren.
  • Speaking of connectivity, the Edge variant could feature Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C 3.2.

At present, we don’t know its likely price. But, we shall keep you posted as we come across other rumours and leaks about the Galaxy S25 Edge. Keep reading!
