
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is not done yet, as we still have the Galaxy S25 Edge. This is the new slim offering from the brand that made an official appearance at the Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year. While the launch date is not officially confirmed by the South Korean giant, multiple leaks and reports have tipped the expected timelines and more. Now, a Korean outlet has shed fresh light on the announcement and pricing details.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge launch timeline (leaked)
- The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will launch on May 13th at a dedicated Unpacked event, as per a report by the Financial News.
- Furthermore, the report adds that the phone will be released/up for sale on May 23rd in China and Korea. This reiterates a recent leak.
- The new report adds that the Galaxy phone will also see a global release, including the US, on May 30th.
- As per the report, the Galaxy S25 Edge will start at 1,500,000 million won (approx Rs 89,200) for the 256GB and 1,630,000 million won (around Rs 97,000) for the 512GB. Apparently, there won’t be a 1TB variant.
- It is said to be up for pre-registrations between May 14th and May 20th and pre-reservations between May 20th and May 23rd.
- The report notes that customers who pre-purchase the Galaxy S25 Edge will get the usual double storage upgrade benefit at no extra cost. Additionally, there will be no Samsung website exclusive colours, as per Financial News.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: what do we know so far?
While the new report doesn’t add anything about India release, the possible Galaxy S25 Edge already, hinting at its launch in the country.
- Display: The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: Powering the phone could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
- Battery: It is likely to pack a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
- Cameras: Leaks claim the Galaxy S25 Edge could pack a 200MP primary camera and a 12MP/50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It might get a 12MP shooter for selfies.
- Colours: The phone may come in Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Jetblack colours.
- The phone is said to measure anywhere between 5.8mm to 6.4mm in thickness.
While the India price details are under wraps, it could be placed between the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, which cost Rs 80,999 and Rs 1,29,999, respectively.
