Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge made its debut globally earlier today. It’s Samsung’s ultra-slim smartphone measuring only 5.8mm. Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25 Edge in India as well, with pre-orders now live for the handset. This is the fourth phone in the Galaxy S25 lineup, sitting just below the Galaxy S25 Ultra and differentiates itself by having a sleek and lightweight form factor while retaining a large display for entertainment needs. Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge price in India, pre-order, and availability

• Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1,09,999.
• It is available in two memory variants with 256GB and 512GB storage. Samsung is offering the 512GB variant for the price of the 256GB variant. 
• In comparison, the Galaxy S25 starts at Rs 80,999, the Galaxy S25+ at Rs 99,999, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra at Rs 1,29,999. 
• The Galaxy S25 Edge is up for pre-orders on the Samsung India website. 
• You can get the Galaxy S25 Edge in Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Silver colours.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specifications

• Display: The Galaxy S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2,600 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection. The Galaxy S25+ also has the same display hardware but with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
• Processor: The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC for Galaxy. The entire Galaxy S25 lineup uses the same chipset across markets. This chipset scored 22,17,076 on AnTuTu in our internal testing of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, indicating top-of-the-line performance.
• RAM and storage: The Galaxy S25 Edge comes with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM + 256GB and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

• Cameras: It houses a 200MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor (with macro mode) at the back. For selfies, you get a 12MP front camera with the Galaxy S25 Edge, capable of video recording in up to 4K 60FPS.
• Battery, charging: The Galaxy S25 Edge packs a 3,900mAh battery, just 100mAh less than the vanilla Galaxy S25, with 25W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging support. The handset is claimed to charge up to 55 percent in around 30 minutes.
• Software: The phone runs Android 15 with One UI 7 out of the box. You also get the latest Galaxy AI features like Drawing Assist and Audio Eraser. The has promised seven years of major Android upgrades.
• Other features: The Galaxy S25 Edge comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and a Titanium alloy frame.

• Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Also coming with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra offers a more versatile camera setup, which includes a 200MP periscope with 4.3x optical zoom. It also comes with a much larger 5,410mAh battery.
• Google Pixel 9 Pro: Although the Tensor G4 chipset present on the Google Pixel 9 Pro won’t achieve the same level of performance as the Snapdragon 8 Elite on the Galaxy S25 Edge, the Pixel 9 Pro packs triple rear cameras, a larger battery, and tons of Gemini-powered features, a strong alternative to Galaxy AI.
